The free core remains free
Packets, dispatch, the hash-chained record, HOLD, liveness and deterministic checks remain local and available if you never subscribe—or if you later cancel.
Pro has deliberate egress
When you request drift compare, the selected decisions and return go to NorthGate's endpoint and the independent model provider. It does not happen silently.

Is the desktop installer available now?
Yes. The current signed Windows build is available now, with the version, signature, size and hash published for the exact file on the download page. An earlier build from the same installer pipeline (alpha.99) passed the pinned clean-machine install, first-launch, production-health and uninstall gate. It remains preview software, and a real signed version-to-version installation has not yet been claimed as verified.
Does Pro automatically send my projects to a model?
No. Pro drift compare runs only when you submit a comparison. The free governance core remains local-first.
What happens if I cancel?
Your hosted Pro entitlement ends at the end of the paid period. The free local core continues to work.
Who handles payment?
Stripe hosts checkout and handles payment details. NorthGate receives verified billing events and updates the Pro entitlement bound to your signed-in account. VeriCommand never receives full card details.
